(A review of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom)Pathetically stupid portrayal of India. After looking at the script, the Indian govt wouldn't let Spielberg shoot in India. Defined much of rock music for me

(A review of Jagged Little Pill)I heard this album when I was in my late teens and it is the kind of rock music that I will always love. (A review of Monsoon Wedding)Mira Nair made an excellent choice of shooting it like a wedding video rather than a conventional movie which gives it a very intimate feel. She also assembled a cast composed of some of the finest actors in contemporary Indian stage and cinema. (A review of Marriage Is a Crazy Thing )The movie traces the development of an unconventional relationship between a college professor and career woman. He doesn't believe in marriage and she wants a rich husband. What follows is definitely unconventional and in turn, bizarre, funny, touching, thoughtful among other things. The movie leaves without making it clear how it turns out. It's one those things, you know, where the kind of person you are determines how you think it ends.
